Born in Peru, Neila has lived as an artist for the last 20 years in New York. Strongly influenced by her Peruvian Inca culture and her love for New York, Her art embraces the different, yet complementary social issues of the modern world. Neila’s art is comprised of abstract expressionist paintings, created out of found objects mounted on wood and then painted in an uninhibited style of form and color.
